Join us on Friday Evening (after WordCamp), June 6th, in Basel to hear alternative talks on WordPress that you won't hear at WordCamp. Attend your usual conference then come on down, it's not an either or, you can be affiliated with anyone in the community and attend both events!
Alt Ctrl Org was founded out of a deep love for WordPress, WordPress meet-ups, and the vibrant community that comes with the software. The mission is to celebrate and champion the openness, collaboration, and inclusivity that make this ecosystem so remarkable.
The goal is to empower all voices within the WordPress community. Alt Ctrl Org envisions a space where everyone can contribute equally, fostering an environment where diverse and interesting perspectives are heard. Imagine a future where WordCamps continue to thrive, each featuring an Alt Ctrl Org meet up that invites fresh ideas with community-led schedules.
Track 4 is the alternative track, the evening track or meet-up that is an alternative space for ideas that might not fit the official program. Alt Ctrl Org is the physical space where people can meet, talk and think outside the box.
In this informal setting (yes, a bar!), we’re making space for conversations as well as providing a platform for speakers to deliver quick, high impact talks on topics attendees choose. Drinks in hand we will have talks about the things we want to talk about, you decide!
Alt Ctrl Org will give voices to different, novel and challenging ideas, it will be free to attend, but small donations are welcome. We will be a non-profit and we will aim to have no surplus on the night.
If you’re interested in joining our board email us and let us know [email protected]. We need you!
More info coming soon, watch this space!
Spaces are limited for this event sign up below to get on the list for ticket information and venue details. Be part of Track 4, the track that they won’t have but need to have. Let's alternate the control and organise!
